Bio
Like a hazily remembered dream, U.K. duo the KVB blend reverb-soaked shoegaze with minimalist electronic production to create their delicate and ephemeral sound. Formed in 2010 by Nicholas Wood and Kat Day, the KVB got started with a number of limited cassette and vinyl releases before their first full-length, Always Then, arrived in 2012.
Killer Viennese Bodybuilder is the first set of words that come to mind, as the opening couple of tracks would make a suitably impressive soundtrack for dancing to, in that legendary nightclub Tech Noir, from cult ’80s time travel rom-com The Terminator
Beforehand, Manchester based trio DEK (Dream English Kid) provide a dazzling introduction to the evening’s entertainment courtesy of a set that relies as much on its visual element as it does the music
