Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, known professionally as The Kid Laroi (stylized as The Kid LAROI), is an Australian recording artist. Born in Sydney, but raised in rural Australia, he originally amassed a small following from his associations with rapper Juice WRLD, who mentored him while he was on tour in Australia.

Australia’s hip-hop/pop mega star in the making The Kid LAROI conquers State Farm Center
Howard is proud of his First Nations links: his family from his mother’s side is from the Kamilaroi peoples (hence the name) and his concert in a freezing, wet stormy Hobart opened with a welcoming perfomance from a local First Nations trio. The warmth and reception from the filled-to-capacity stadium was moving.
