The LiveRate Process

Data Collection

The LiveRate team gathers concert reviews from over 400 online publications worldwide, including the Guardian, the Rolling Stone, the Sydney Morning Herald, Vibe, Exclaim.ca, NME, and many others.

Analysis

Ratings are generated by determining a numerical score for each concert review for a particular artist. The editorial team runs the reviews through our proprietary algorithm that generates a Live Rating out of 100.

Aggregation

At LiveRate, we aggregate the scores into a single Live Rating that allows you to make more informed decisions. A Live Rating represents a weighted average of the critic concert reviews and changes with new critic reviews.
