Deafheaven is an American post-black metal band that formed in San Francisco, California on February, 2010. The group began as a two-piece project with George Clarke and Kerry McCoy, who recorded and self-released a demo together.

Kentucky crew Knocked Loose, with help from Deafheaven and Headbussa, incited mayhem at Manchester Academy.
Coming off of a divisive album that saw DEAFHEAVEN stray from their black metal roots, it’s not surprising that the O2 Academy’s second room is less than full – that and the fact that it’s possibly the coldest Tuesday night of the year so far.
