Tonight Warwick and company make a welcome return to the North East of England just a mere eight months after their first show in the area at the O2 Academy Newcastle as support to the legendary Stiff Little Fingers.

As the Black Star Riders are taking some much-needed downtime before embarking on tour with Def Leppard and Whitesnake the band’s frontman Ricky Warwick and guitarist Damon Johnson have taken their acoustic show out on the road.

The compact venue meant plenty of interaction, a fair chunk of the night taken up with reworked BSR songs, including Finest Hour and Killer Instinct.

Leeds' Brudenell Social Club showcased some of Britain’s best when Ricky Warwick (the Almighty Thin Lizzy Black Star Riders) and Terrorvision duo Tony Wright and Milton Evans stopped by.

The sun still continues to shine gloriously at this point pairing wonderfully with Warwick’s brand of acoustic Celtic-punk.
