Every time I see Gregory Porter it feels festive, no more so than this year, with his latest album ‘Christmas Wish’ riding high in the charts.

The two-time Grammy winner has been a regular guest of the venue over the past decade, his last visit being his sold-out series in 2021 for the venue’s 150th anniversary.
Nocturne Live returns to The Great Court at Blenheim Palace in 2023, and was once again bathed in sunshine. The birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and ‘the UK’s most beautiful venue’ was looking sublime and ready to party.
Sitting around one afternoon, many years ago, watching Music Videos on T.V “Be Good” By Gregory Porter came on. This song and video instantly caught my attention. Although listed as a Jazz track, it had an R&B feel. I was intrigued by Gregory’s style and enamored by his vocals.
For those seeking sanctuary from Great Escape lanyard-toting musos, over-indulged hen and stag dos and Eurovision, the Brighton Centre proved to be a safe space for music-loving Brightonians with a many-times rescheduled evening in the company of crooner supreme, Gregory Porter.
