Madball is a New York hardcore/metalcore band formed in 1988. The project started after Agnostic Front frontman Roger Miret let his younger half-brother Freddy Cricien take the microphone and perform lead vocals during shows.

Since 1994, Madball has recorded and released four EPs and nine albums, the most recent output being 2018's For the Cause. Cricien is the sole remaining original member in the band. Criecien has spent 33 of his 45 years in Madball. He is Madball for life.

Freddy Madball (Cricien) is the younger half-brother of Agnostic Front singer Roger Miret. The first Madball lineup consisted of a 12 year old Freddy singing, his brother on bass, and AF members Vinnie Stigma and Will Shepler on guitar and drums.
