After a two year hiatus thanks to pandemic-induced cancellations, Desertfest London is back with a bang! As the UK’s premier festival for doom, stoner, sludge and everything inbetween, as we descend onto the famous Camden Town, excitement is rife.
Hailing from the depths of Phoenix, Arizona, Spirit Adrift are making their way through the United States with High Command and Haunt. I caught them recently at their DC date, held at Songbyrd Music House, a venue that is part record store, part concert hall.
Montreal is such a sick city for metal, and was recently deemed a heavy metal city by popular vote. Montreal is also a great place for stoner metal and anything remotely doom or sludgy considering the city is full of potheads and psychonauts.
