From the moment Beth Hart stuck her nicotine gum to the grand piano to begin Baddest Blues, I knew it was going to be a good night. But her sold out show at The London Palladium almost didn't happen.
The audience began to cheer as Hart entered the stage, looking just amazing. She shouted a resounding “hello” and introduced the first song as one that really helped her out through lockdown, along with rock music and rap.
The Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida got rocked to its sold-out rafters Saturday night, as the one and only Beth Hart unleashed a scorching set of blues, jazz, rock, and soul.
Blues singer Beth Hart is a survivor. She’s survived a troubled a youth, in which her father, a bail bondsman, did time in prison. Later, her brother passed away due to AIDS. Stardom did not come easily for her; she’s battled mental illness in the form of bipolar disorder and major addictions to drugs and alcohol.
Beth Hart has an honest and raw approach to her music. Her highs and lows have no constraints as she has no problem sharing them with the world through her songwriting. Honest, factual accounts from her upbringing to her current place are on full display on anything she has ever put pen to paper
