The scene is set downstairs in Clwb Ifor Bach, which is establishing itself more and more as the big purveyor of quality alternative music in the Welsh capital – their offering through the Spring and Summer this year is certainly something to look at, a much-needed breather after two long years of lockdown abstinence.
The lighting tonight is a little disappointing, I was expecting something a bit more given the bands flamboyance so had thought there might have been a bit of a light show.
Sandwiched discreetly somewhere in between the rumblings of post Punk and the start of a music genre that many now know and accept to have been labeled as ‘Goth', were a bunch of bands and music fans inhabiting clubs that some filed neatly under the term ‘New Romantic'.
