Bio
Redd Kross, a rock band from Hawthorne, California had their roots in 1978 in a band called The Tourists begun by Jeff and Steve McDonald while the brothers were still in middle school. With the addition of friends Greg Hetson and Dave Keller on guitar and John Stielow on drums, the band's first gig was opening for Black Flag.

Jeff and Steve McDonald have been around the block and back both as Redd Kross and as the Tourists staying alive through three decades of changes to the scene and still bringing a visceral show to the stage.
Thirty years later the kind of loud, fuzzy rock that thrilled the young Californian teenagers finally seems to be seeping back into the Sydney scene and both this gig's supports did a pretty good job of it.
