Glen Hansard (born 21 April 1970) is an Irish singer-songwriter and actor. He is vocalist and guitarist for Irish group The Frames and one half of folk-rock duo The Swell Season.
Irish singer-songwriter, and actor Glen Hansard made his first trip to Oklahoma City this past Monday night, and I have a feeling it won't be his last. Touring in support of his This Wild Willing album, Hansard effectively floored me with his songwriting and arrangements.
The soft, somber, sad-bastard reputation of Hansard’s certainly precedes him. A friend of mine tweeted just before heading to the concert that “trying to pump myself up for an extremely mellow concert is weird.
