Blancmange was formed in Harrow in Greater London by vocalist Neil Arthur (born on 15 August 1958, in Darwen, Lancashire) and instrumentalist Stephen Luscombe (born on 29 October 1954, in Hillingdon, Middlesex).

Blancmange brought their 18th album, Private View to Hanger 34, Liverpool; Phil was there to wish them all the best.
Formed way back in 1979, Blancmange forged their own unique sound in the much over-populated synth/electro-pop sphere, managing to remain unique and interesting.
Despite such an early founding, Blancmange are still rocking and tonight’s show at Concorde 2 has shown that they are still a name that is worthy of their legendary status.
After noting on the Heaven 17 website that doors opened at 7:30pm my mate arranged to pick me up from home at 7 to make the 20 minute journey to Blackburn.
