After a long stretch of unseasonably warm weather, the Windy City had reverted to its usual for February: cold and, well, windy.
The incredibly multi-talented Noonan managed to juggle singing lead vocals, engaging the crowd, switching between multiple guitars and playing drums during their 50-minute set.
Having reached a commercial high point in the mid-00’s with excellent releases such as Music In Mouth and Flock the band were a big enough draw to headline packed shows at the RDS Arena the Point Depot and Malahide Castle.
The thesaurus entry for Bell X1 – if one were to exist- would be a calamity of synonyms that ultimately mean ‘fun’.
It makes this country’s appreciation of them – or lack thereof – unbelievably frustrating. They’re not U2 (thank God) nor are they The Coronas (again, thank God). The balance struck is one of
