Bio
Ween is an American alternative rock & experimental rock band that formed in 1984 in New Hope, Pennsylvania when Aaron Freeman (aka Gene Ween) and Mickey Melchiondo (aka Dean Ween) met in an eighth grade typing class. After a 28-year run, Freeman quit the band in 2012, citing the need to focus on his alcohol and drug addiction issues.

The blessing of the Boognish descended upon St. Louis last Saturday when Ween played Music Park, their first appearance in the city since a 2018 set at the Pageant.
It’s a hazy, summer evening in the American Fartland, and in the security line to the outdoor Ween concert — which snakes around the block into an alley — a man is shouting. Shirtless, or at least shirtless in the memory of this observer, he lumbered through the queued multitude, unleashing a stricken bellow
Ween played the Chicago Rivera Theatre 3/19 & 3/20 2022. Watching the previous shows' setlists come out, I had an idea of what songs we would hear on this Spring Tour. I scrambled to jot down a few tunes I thought for sure would show up in Chicago.
