Spiritualized obliterate EartH as part of the Brits Weeks gigs in aid of War Child
Jason Pierce is the architect of Spiritualized, although looking at the stage from the wooden, tiered amphitheatre of EartH Hackney, you might not know it. He stands side-on to the audience throughout the night; this distinct lack of physical engagement with the crowd is a long-standing hallmark of his stagecraft.
The Stage setting for the show is horseshoe in shape and set back from the front, starting on the right you had Jason (J Spaceman) three backing singers, the drummer, the bassist, coming around to the left the keyboards finishing out with the guitarist.
