The Chats are an Australian punk rock band from Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The current line up consists of Eamon Sandwith (vocals, bass), Josh Price (guitar), and Matt Boggis (drums).
Watching The Chats is like a fun slap in the face. This rescheduled gig falls perfectly on an absolute Stinker of a day as the temperature of the room just gets hotter per song.
In the age of post-post punk, it is sometimes difficult to pinpoint exactly where this musical movement is going next. There are bands like Cowboyy who are taking the genre in an arty, jazzy direction, the stalwarts of the scene like Shame and Fontaines
