The Blockheads are an English rock and roll band. Having played with Ian Dury for many years (as Ian Dury and the Blockheads), the Blockheads continued to play together following Dury's death (due to colorectal cancer) in 2000.

Ian Dury passed away in 2000 but his legacy lives on. Chaz Jankel, who co-wrote the bulk of the tracks on Ian’s first album, New Boots and Panties formed The Blockheads in 1978 to tour the album.
