I’m not going to lie: Some of the songs recently played by The Supersuckers — whose bassist, main songwriter, and principal vocalist Eddie Spaghetti (not his Christian name, at least, not the Spaghetti part) called “the greatest rock band in the world”
My friend and I skipped the support bands in favour of drinking and lamenting the laundry list of shows that Covid had cancelled or postponed (mine included Off With Their Heads, Frank Turner and Laura Stevenson, his included Genesis and Gojira – our tastes don't always align).
The self-proclaimed greatest Rock n Roll band in the world rolled into town on Friday night bringing with it an evening of hot, sweaty and ear-splitting raucousness; in other words, just what the doctor ordered for a weekend kick-off.
