Seether are a rock band founded in May 1999 in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they moved to the United States and changed it to Seether to avoid confusion with the deadly chemical known as sarin gas.

There are certain shows that just hit different, were every band on the lineup brings their own kind of chaos, emotion, and history to the stage. Tonight was one of those nights.
Not surprisingly, it was a massive turn out for an all -ages show, with hundreds of teenagers, parents and everyone in-between descending inwards from the freezing temperature on an otherwise beautifully still night.
On the eve of New Zealand's first official day of winter, the South African trio of Seether descended upon Auckland's Town Hall to raise the fan's temperatures with their third and final New Zealand show.
