Being the fourth and final show on the Australian leg of their tour the trio consisting of Kim Nekroman (vocals coffinbass) Franc Mesa (guitar) and Lux (drums) were more than ready to rock hard and leave fans with a favourable lasting impression.
Death Valley opened up proceedings with a set mixed with thunderous rollicking riffs some mighty fine double bass work and twin vocals that mixed punk rock with country in a similar vein as Tiger Army.
If you are familiar with the modern rockabilly music genre there is a good chance you have been exposed to the psychobilly / horrorbilly subculture. Horrorbilly and psychobilly share the musical influences of rockabilly with the addition of punk rock and horror based lyrics.
