Matthew Good is a rock musician from Coquitlam, BC, Canada, formerly of the Matthew Good Band, which was disbanded in 2002. His solo career has met with continued success, with the release of Avalanche on March 4, 2003.
It was one hell of a Canadian co-headlining tour! Both acts have been deeply imbedded in the Canadian rock scene from the early 90s up to the present day, and it was an amazing night to watch these two bands share the stage.
Music, for me, is akin to looking back at an old, favourite photograph. Everything about that particular moment in time bubbles up to the surface. All the sights, smells, sounds, and recollections of people come to the forefront of one’s mind. This is exactly what happened at the Matthew Good concert.
Chalking it up to wear and tear from his band's current tour stretch Good strayed from hitting the high notes in Hello Time Bomb and Apparitions saving himself for later on to push his register when it really counted — during the emotive Weapon.
