Keb' Mo' (born October 3, 1951 in South Los Angeles, California as Kevin Moore) is an American blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He first started recording in the early 1970s with Jefferson Airplane violinist Papa John Creach.

Keb’ Mo’ is a 5 time grammy winner from Nashville Tennessee and has 19 studio and live albums under his belt. I started listening to him since his debut album in 1994. My old boss loved the blues and turned me onto so many great players and Keb’ was one of the artists that i really started liking.
It is always a treat when Keb’ Mo’ rolls into town, and I generally drop whatever I’m doing to attend. This show, in particular, marked my first concert coverage in two years.
Kevin Roosevelt Moore, known professionally as Keb’ Mo’, sat on a chair on the City Winery NYC stage surrounded by five guitars. He laid for his disposal one hollow-body electric, two acoustic and two resonator guitars, and switched them off with almost every song
Normally, when I can get a hold of a setlist before the start of a show, it makes my life as a reviewer that much easier. So I eased up a little when our photographer, Ari Strauss, sent a me shot of it just before Keb’ Mo’ started playing at The Birchmere recently
