The Argentine singer-songwriter speaks in metaphors and concepts, while her experimental folk/pop music reverberates eerie layers of repetitive synths, sounds, and vocals.
The way she manages to re-animate the rotting corpse of Bossa Nova while pulling the strings of her Gibson SG with devastating power and precision is marvellous.
With her new album Wed 21 she has added electric guitar bass and drums to the mix but it's still a solo work – she performed recorded and produced it herself crafting each song by adding layer upon layer of sound.
