Another fine night as part of the Future Juke festival. This time a three band show featuring Ian Siegal playing solo acoustic on an exclusively pre-war Blues session.
Born in Fareham in 1971, it’s been said that if Siegal had been performing and recording in the 1960s, his name would likely now resonate alongside such luminaries as Joe Cocker and Van Morrison.
Siegal brought his extremely talented band known as the Rhythm Chiefs featuring Dusty Ciggaar (guitar) Raphael Schwiddessen (drums) and Danny Van’t Hoff (bass).
There are only a handful of artists out there who could ever warrant such generous praise in this case it is Britain’s very own Ian Siegal and his American comrade-in-crime Jimbo Mathus.
