Georgia Lines headlined the third of 18 free concerts in this summer’s Music in Parks series on a bright, sunny Saturday afternoon at Auckland’s Aotea Square.
It ended in tears. By the end of the evening Georgia Lines was overwhelmed with emotion as she was about to perform her last song before moving to Nashville.
Georgia Lines pulled out all the stops during her “monumental” show at Auckland’s Powerstation, with bubbles, guests, audience participation, a great band, a cool cover, costume changes and, best of all, Georgia’s own voice and songs.
Georgia Lines brought her songs, her voice and a few members of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra out to the Domain to help celebrate New Zealand Music Month.
The grand foyer of the Auckland War Memorial Museum is truly a stunning place to spend an evening. Last night featured two fantastic singer-song writers Georgia lines (featuring members from the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra) and opening the evening was Cassie Henderson.
Georgia Lines looking fabulously androgynous in a double-breasted suit and blue eye-shadow, delivered a defining set of superior soulful Pop to a near-capacity Anthology Lounge crowd.
