Doyle Bramhall II (born 24 December 1968) is a guitarist and vocalist in his band Smokestack and was also the second guitarist in Eric Clapton's band from 2004 to 2009. He is the son of singer, songwriter and drummer Doyle Bramhall, who was raised with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmie Vaughan.

Texas Blues Boy Brings It Back Home
When I think of the name Doyle Bramhall II, I automatically rank him as one of the great Texas Guitar Heroes of my generation. To me, he is right up there with the likes of; Johnny Winter, Billy Gibbons and even the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan! Doy
In search of relief, we headed to BB King’s Blues Club in the heart of New York’s Times Square to catch one of Austin’s favorite sons, Doyle Bramhall II.
The beautiful Capitol Theatre is about as far west as you can get, just moments from the shore and in the heart of a quaint, little tourist spot brimming with character and charm.
“This is not the first barbeque joint I’ve played, coming from Texas,” said Doyle Bramhall II last night at Willie’s Locally Known. “But it is the best.”
The only thing cooler than seeing singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer Doyle Bramhall II live is enjoying his performance in an intimate, local setting, up close and personal, front row. And thanks to Brevard Music Group, that is exactly what I experienced at Melbourne, Florida’s King Center Studio Theatre. K
