When the Greenwich Summer Sounds festival kicked off with Nile Rogers & CHIC, the festival had to contend with brutal weather. Ponchos and waterproofs could not see off the worst of the rain.
Heading to Hammersmith on Saturday for the prospect of seeing the Black Eyed Peas minus Fergie, there was a feeling that tonight might just be a long night.
So it proved.
Where to begin? This was the opening night of Black Eyed Peas’ first tour for seven years, after the release on Friday of their first album in eight,; chart for half of 2009 with the cheesy singles
