Cypress Hill rolled up on a cool and breezy May night in Toronto. Bringing with them a legendary hip-hop lineup to Coca-Cola Coliseum that included The Pharcyde and De La Soul.
Hip-hop fans have much to celebrate as the genre turns 50 this year. How could folks have known that as DJ Kool Herc hovered over two turntables in a Bronx rec room in 1973 he would be creating a genre that would be the dominant musical force five decades later?
