Briolette Kah Bic Runga (born 13 January 1976) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter whose first solo album, Drive, debuted at number one in the New Zealand charts, and has since become one of the highest-selling New Zealand artists of our time. Runga has also found success internationally in Australia and the UK.

Sydney serves up one of the coldest nights of the year so far, as the crowd gathers inside City Recital Hall where Bic Runga makes a glorious return.
Bic Runga brought her Red Sunset Tour to Auckland’s Te Paepae Theatre at NZICC on Hobson Street..for many it was their first time at the new venue and the first time in a while hearing Bic perform live.
Bic Runga was backed by the Auckland Philharmonia last night at the Aotea Centre in a Beautiful Collision of her much loved material with the might of an outstanding orchestra.
And now, the end is here, and we have faced the final curtain…the day has drawn in on the Harcourts Hawkes Bay Arts Festival. Seeing out the angels was Bic Runga, one on whom the overused status of “iconic” can justifiably be endowed.
