Scottish indie rockers The View burst into fame when debut ‘Hats Off To The Buskers’ soared to No.1 in the album charts of ’06. Everyone knows them as the band that sang ‘Same Jeans’. They are now due to release their fourth album, ‘Cheeky For A Reason’, despite the decline of the era of Oasis and Arctic Monk

I for one have always intended to see The View perform live but the opportunities have always seemed to pass me by.

It’s 10pm on a warm Thursday night in Liverpool and you might be forgiven for thinking The View aren’t going to turn up.
