The special magic of a great, large scale live concert is hard to match. And god knows we've all been locked up for far too long.
Summer may be long gone but Perth's Factory Summer Festival has been rolling the past few weeks, delayed due to the WA government's restrictions, with The Presets the latest to grace the stage at Metro City.
Ah, The Presets — Australia’s foremost punk-electronica duo graced a modest crowd at The Bluebird Theater last night touring behind their latest album, Hi Viz. For many, The Presets exist in the now-mythical universe of late ’00s electronica alongside artists like Digitalism, Justice and Simian Mobile Disco.
‘Knuckles’ jagged musings welcomed the duo on stage, the starting song of 2018 record, ‘Hi Viz’; it slowly transitioned into fan-favourite ‘Talk Like That’, Big start! somebody shrieked – it was.
