On the first night of two Melbourne shows, US indie rock band The Front Bottoms rocked Northcote Theatre playing their first show in Australia since 2018.
The Front Bottoms (yes, it’s a euphemism) performed their last of a nine-date December UK tour, at Camden’s Electric Ballroom, promoting their 8th studio release ‘You Are Who You Hang Out With.’
The Front Bottoms brought their You Are Who You Hang Out With tour to a sold-out Ritz in Raleigh on November 7th. Trio Slothrust served as the night's opening act.
As I waited in the photo pit for The Front Bottoms to hit the stage at The Pageant, I thought about how I originally knew them as a scrappy young band that I would sometimes cross paths with while doing load-ins for bigger shows at The Firebird way back in 2012.
