The Bevis Frond is a British musical group whose range covers hard edge to melancholy vintage indie rock to poetic, "classic-rock" songcraft with a thick Walthamstow accent. Nick Saloman is the band's frontman and songwriter. They have recorded many albums out on various independent labels.

Lights are changing, but The Bevis Frond still shine bright. Last Sunday’s Lexington shindig felt like a blissfully bleary blast from the past—picture a sunny Sunday soundtrack spun by Anton Barbeau’s baby-amp bravado, followed by The Bevis Frond’s psychedelic parade.
Nick Saloman donned a pair of glasses before the Bevis Frond’s first show in Portland, Oregon in two and a half decades. “My only concession to aging,” he said and then launched into a story about a losing bet he made with a friend at the pub about how he wouldn’t need glasses by the age of 60.
