Static-X was formed in 1994 from the ashes of Wayne Static and Ken Jay's former band, Deep Blue Dream. After searching for members in Chicago,United States, Static and Jay decided to go to Los Angeles to continue their search.
Nü-metal powerhouses Dope, Sevendust, and Static-X teamed up again, with supporting act Lines of Loyalty, to bring fans the much-anticipated 'Machine Killer' tour
Static-X concluded their brief Australian tour celebrating their 'Machine' album in Brisbane, joined by Chicago's SOiL and home grown Witchgrinder playing ahead of the 'evil disco' pioneers.
