Saosin is a post-hardcore band from Newport Beach, California, USA who originally formed during 2003 and partly consists of former members of the band Open Hand. They have released a full-length self-titled album.

Adelaide band Alt. offer up an ambitious blend of post-hardcore, djent and alternative metal as main support for tonight's Saosin show (10 March).
The tension was palpable at O2 Academy, Islington in the moments before the band took to the stage and the reception was raucous with Green bringing a tidal wave of energy to his performance which was only too keenly reciprocated by the crowd.
Once Rick Astley‘s ’80s hit Never Gonna Give You Up abruptly replaced the heavy guitar licks of Southern metalcore band Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, it became evident that Sunday night’s Glass House show, topped by Newport Beach outfit Saosin, would be unpredictable to say the least.
For the first three or so hours of Sunday night’s final stop of the PacSun Tour at House of Blues Anaheim, it seemed this was destined to be one of those nights where the artists and performances were solid even while failing to deliver a particularly memorable performance.
