New Kids On The Block, Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men poured their love for fans on stage as they sung their classic hits and danced their way back into our hearts.
There’s a lot to unpack at a New Kids on the Block concert: Flaming pianos, rapping cartoon cats, roses hurled with abandon, at least one Christmas carol crooned in falling July snow.
Every two years since 2011, the quintet of Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood have returned to arenas in various stages of tank tops and toned biceps.
It was my first boy band experience, and from one of the originators, and it was overwhelmingly positive, however, there was a single negative that kept removing me from the experience – It all felt so scripted.
