Elbow is an alternative rock band that got started in Bury, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom in 1990. Formed when its members were in sixth-form college, the group consists of Guy Garvey (vocals, guitar), Mark Potter (guitar, vocals), Pete Turner (bass), Craig Potter (keyboards) and Richard Jupp (drums).

From the moment Elbow walked on stage at the Lloyds Amphitheatre in Bristol Harbourside, they had the huge crowd eating out of their hands. After three years away from Bristol, the Mancunian band clearly wanted to make up for lost time and they were genuinely pleased to see their fans again.

Fuckin' ell I'm still recovering after a post-gig night out with a Mysterine and a Blinder then I get the news that some twat who's decided to live next to a music venue has been on to the council for a noise abatement notice on one of the best-loved venues in town. I'll tell you something for nothing.
