I have loved Black Mountain ever since I first heard them, and I was truly excited to check them out live at Urban after having had the opportunity to review their latest album, Destroyer, earlier this year.
Black Mountain’s Stephen McBean recently proposed that "anxiety is the new heavy metal" in reference to the first single (Future Shade) off their latest album, Destroyer.
While Destroyer is known for poetic, cerebral songwriting, Black Mountain specializes in devil-horn-raising hard rock, making for a enjoyable but slightly uneven night.
