Bio
Bill Ryder-Jones has been a professional musician for exactly half his life. Growing up in Merseyside, north-west England, he was first signed when he was 16, but rose to prominence with British band The Coral and as a very, very handy guitarist (as Noel Gallagher has mentioned several times).
Bill Ryder-Jones is an elusive creature. A founding member of Jangle-rock band The Coral at the age of 13, the artist has matured from the catchy choruses of ‘Dreaming of you’ and ‘In The Morning’ before our eyes to become one of the country’s most endearingly raw songwriters.
Flourishing as a singer-songwriter of considerable craft since leaving The Coral, Bill Ryder-Jones on stage belies his unfair reputation for gloomy introspection.
