For nearly 30 years, the first weekend of May has seen Cheltenham transform from a quaint suburb into a bustling hub of international jazz talent.
I had never seen Beverley perform before, nor really listened to any of her music, so, along with the two support acts, this was going to be an experience.
Countless trends have since come and gone entire pop careers have risen and fallen and the music industry has changed beyond recognition but Knight has soldiered on.
