AlunaGeorge are an English electronic music duo from London, consisting of Aluna Francis (vocals and songwriting) and George Reid (production and instrumentation).The duo first met in June 2009, when Reid remixed Francis' band My Toys Like Me's track "Sweetheart" A lot of bands meet as kids at school.

Though their tracks do not stand out lyrically, AlunaGeorge know the formula to releasing endless hits, and it is no wonder so many artists have had the singer feature on their own records.
Tonight, they (though without George for live performances it is an Aluna Francis solo performance) have filled Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, just as they did their previous visit.
And while their slinky electro-R&B makes perfect headphone music front-person Aluna Franics made it perfectly clear how the duo augmented by a live drummer have become festival mainstays.
Since then water has been trod but electro duo Aluna Francis and George Reid are suddenly the next big thing once again and their second album I Remember (with its recent hit the Flume-produced title track) should be with us later this year.
