Abrasive and unapologetic, Primitive Man is the brainchild of Ethan Lee McCarthy (formerly of Clinging To The Trees of a Forest Fire) and they originally set the sludge-metal world on fire with their 2013 debut Scorn.
The city emerges from six to eight months of frozen hibernation to wring as much fun as possible out of the short time we can be outside with exposed skin.
Thanking the small crowd for supporting such a different band from the rest of the bill, they proceeded to power through a (possibly shortened) set, finishing in under 15 minutes.
