Theory of a Deadman (or Theory for short) is a rock band from North Delta, British Columbia, Canada, formed in 2001, signed by Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger to 604 Records, after lead singer Tyler Connolly gave Kroeger a demo tape. The band also includes traits of other music styles, such as country, metal and more acoustic elements.
The first single off of the album, Rx (Medicate), which talks about depression and addiction to prescription medications, absolutely demolished the Billboard Charts, where it sat for 6 weeks at #1.
The combination of this utterly romantic song combined with the very cordial words of FTA about how much of a fun time we were all going to have on Tuesday night was the introduction of friendly Canadianism.
