The Civilianaires Tour is winding down after 2 months being on the road crossing the country, performing to many sold out venues.
One such night of amazing acoustic music at Fourth Baptist Church on September 8 featured a sold-out performance by Canadian rock staples, the Trews, and Ottawa’s own etoile Noire.
The Nova Scotian group is touring behind a greatest hits compilation called Time Capsule something singer/guitarist Colin MacDonald admitted to feeling a little guilty about “so we wrote some new songs.
Celebrating the release of the bands 5th full-length album, The Trews decided to hold themselves a little party to commemorate the finished project. The band took over The Danforth Music Hall for a sold out show that was something of an epic party.
Opening act The Glorious Sons lead singer Brett Eammons start
The band, consisting of Colin MacDonald (Vocals), John-Angus MacDonald (Guitar), Jack Syperek (Bass) and Sean Dalton (Drums) hit the stage at around 3:30 pm to a capacity crowd of about 2000 people.
