Skunk Anansie visited Brighton this month on a UK tour simply titled ‘UK Tour 2025’, which was good enough for us. Support came from So Good, a London-based band who describe themselves as “ignorant brat pop” – which turns out to be a pretty accurate description of their music.
As Skin, Ace, Cass, and Mark Richardson took to the stage, the roar from the crowd was deafening. From the first beat, Rock City was ignited by a tidal wave of sound and emotion—an eruption of punk-rock fury, metallic riffs, and Skin's unmistakable powerhouse vocals.
With an utter explosion of life affirming energy, the extraordinary New York City based Skin and her band, Skunk Anansie, were at Rock City on Thursday night and immediately captivated the crowd.
