The early set time may have meant fewer people to play to, but Currents filled the room with their hard-hitting metal, particularly their new single Delusion.
Frontman Brian looked confident onstage and commanded a reaction from the crowd; perhaps a little to early on to orchestrate a bone-crushing wall of death but the crowd seemed to appreciate the effort they put into their set.
Miss May I‘s debut Sydney headliner was a sweaty pit-thriller that had fans rampaging around the upstairs auditorium like a herd of pierced and tatted-up beasts on heat.
