Hip hop’s Lecrae, Christian rock’s Crowder heat up Winter Jam at Van Andel Arena

Lecrae, Andy Mineo, WHATUPRG, nobigdyl., and wordsplayed all took to the stage Thursday night in Midland, Texas.

There’s a lot of family and numerous friends hanging around backstage at the Atlanta venue, but Lecrae seamlessly moves from one assignment to another, always polite and thoughtful.

Lecrae has been working hard to shed that image after much acclaim in the Christian-music world, including a Grammy Award.

The members of a capacity audience of about 6,000 were inspired by Lecrae’s powerful testimony, riveting music and dazzling production.
