Ladyhawke is the stage name of the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Phillipa 'Pip' Brown (born in 13 July 1979 in Masterton, New Zealand). She can play electric, bass and acoustic guitars, synthesizers and drums.
Ladyhawke – aka New Zealand songstress Pip Brown – danced confidently into synth-pop territory with third album ‘Wild Things’, which was released last year.
Having achieved global success with her eponymous debut, which produced five singles, the shy and anxious Brown followed it up with the less-stellar, guitar-driven and somewhat moody Anxiety.
