Jerrilynn Patton, also known as Jlin, is the most prominent female juke/footwork music producer of this current generation. Originally from Decatur, Georgia, she grew up and still resides in Gary, Indiana, 20 miles from downtown Chicago.

Unloading heaving slabs of bass like heat waves while spinning freaky donuts around the blasts, the Indiana producer wasted no time transitioning between tracks, foregoing a seamless set for a more economical attack.
There were also plenty of people there for Black Panther—I crossed a sea of ticket touts on my way in—though the Indiana artist's fans made a bigger impression, looking around confusedly and wandering through the multiplex in search of the bass.
